You want to go beyond touristic areas in Prague and main Czech cities but do not dare organizing it in a country you are not familiar with & where you can’t talk the language? Discover untouched regions that have more to offer than crowded sightseeings & busy streets. Czech wines? Better than you might think. Mostly fresh, crisp whites, along with some some deep, oaky ones, and lighter, fruity reds on top. We visit winemakers we love for their wines and personalities. One word to summarize the day in the wine country?
“Fun”! A field trip with great wine, good food and interesting locals!
" June Wonderful wine tour and company
The Bohemian Wine Tour with Isabelle and Andrea was simply delightful. Neither my husband nor I are wine connoisseurs; wine tastings and tours are, for us, a new hobby. Isabelle and Andrea were eager to share their passion for wine with us. They patiently answered our questions and never treated us condescendingly. Their expertise about wine is evident and as good teachers aspired to elevate our knowledge. All the wineries we visited were charming in unique and distinctive ways, and the wines were fantastic. I appreciate the time and attention we received on this tour. Overall, we had a wonderful day traversing the countryside, tasting a variety of Czech wines, and enjoying good food. My husband and I highly recommend this tour not only for the wine but for Isabelle’s and Andrea’s charming company as well.
"Our Favorite Day in Prague!
We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide, Andrea, was amazing! At the first vineyard, we enjoyed a champagne toast as we took in the amazing views and learned about the history of the vineyard and wine making in the Czech Republic. We then set off for our second vineyard/winery where we took in more beautiful views, ate grapes off the vine, and got to see the wine production first hand. We got to sample 5 different wines, which were delicious! Andrea drove us back to our apartment and told us lots of interesting facts about Prague and suggested a few restaurants for us to try. She was knowledgeable, personable and fun! We felt like we made a new friend in Prague!
"My friend & I LOVED this tour. Andrea was so kind and showed us some beautiful, less touristy parts of Prague. The park where the tour begins is breathtaking and the wine to complement this visit was excellent. We loved leaving the city center too and seeing a lovely Czech winery. The tour of the vineyards & learning more about the winemaking process was interesting. We loved the wine tasting there as well. (not a bad one!) Andrea knows a lot about Czech wines as well as wines in general. She really piqued our interest in learning (and tasting :)) more wines all over the world. It was fabulous to spend time with a Prague local and she gave us great recommendations to explore beyond our tour. We took them & loved those too. I highly recommend you adding this to your Prague agenda.
"A great way to explore the jewels of Czech wines with local experts who are as knowledgeable and passionate as it gets. If you enjoy wine and you are hungry to learn more while exploring Czech Republic, then try one of their tours (we did one with 3 sleep-overs) and experience a culinary delight with a difference. Would highly recommend, also for corporates.
"Venture south to Moravia with Andrea and discover the marvellous Pálava region where the vineyards stretch their green treasure over the rolling hills. The wineries constructed over the last decade or so are architectural gems and the white Moravian wines, divine. Andrea is a knowledgeable and delightful guide. We toured the Mikulov and Lednice castles with her as well. A wonderful experience, and only less than 3 hours south of Prague. We'll go back again!
"We spent a lovely day around Plzen with our guide Andrea. First stop was Bohemian Sect. The tour was very interesting and the tasting after even better! After lunch we toured Pilsner Urquell Brewery. Again a great tour and the beer at the end is the best you will ever have. A great combination!
"On our recent trip to Prague, we had just the greatest experience learning about and tasting Czech wines with Andrea. If you are lucky enough to book this wine tour, you will be both educated and charmed by Andrea whose knowledge is very extensive from her years of study. On a beautiful late summer day in Prague, we visited wineries within the city with fantastic views, gardens and architecture. Czech wines are generally not available in the United States but when they are, we will be ambassadors for them and for the lovely Czech Republic.
"Great trip. Andrea was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as the history of the Bohemian region and it's wineries. Wonderful wines, great Czech food and amazing landscape made this trip an unforgettable one. Would highly recommend!
"Wonderful time with wine, friends in beautiful Moravia
We went on a tour with Isabelle, wine was at the core of it and she's super knowledgeable and loves to share her passion. And we also went biking accross the Moravian vineyards to enjoy fully this such pleasant region.
What a great idea to give away a wine tour in Czech republic to someone you love !
